Filmography
Over the last 4 years, I have made 6 short films. Before I get into each film individually, I’d like to start by saying thank you to anyone who worked on any of these films. I am truly grateful to have work with such talented filmmakers such as yourselves and, if you ever need help on any of your future productions, please don’t hesitate on giving me a call!
What’s Kept in the Dark
FUN FACT!
We shot the majority of this film in my friend’s basement. Thank you, Cameron and Liam!
LOGLINE:
While stranded in the middle of rural America, a couple finds a dark secret that their host doesn’t want them to see.
DIRECTORS NOTE:
In the Summer of 2022, my friend, Andrew Spencer and I found out the 48 hour film competition. As the name states, you have 48 hours to write, film, and edit a short film that matches the prompts given. It was my first real time being the director and working under such fast circumstances. However, we ended up pulling through and winning the first ever Montana 48 challenge!
FUN FACT!
On the first night, I almost cracked my head open while writing the script!
Into the BLU
FUN FACT!
We shot the majority in the SigEp basement. This was my basement era, I guess.
LOGLINE:
In a world where memory is more valuable than gold, a grieving husband reconnects with his late wife through the Blu.
DIRECTORS NOTE:
When we got Silent Film as our genre for our second Montana 48 hour film project, initially I thought we were doomed. To tell a compelling story without the use of dialog when the other teams were allowed to speak seemed impossible. However, my cast and crew showed me it was possible. Julien Harris doesn’t need words to express the grief our character has been through. The edit and the cinematography really emphasized his raw reactions which makes Into the Blu a fascinating project that I will always be proud of. We ended up winning best in Montana and went to Filmapalooza for the second time in Lisbon, Portugal.
FUN FACT!
If you look closely at the machine, you can see my flyrod case sticking out of the top. I thought no one would notice but my Dad certainly did!
Non-Disclosure
FUN FACT!
The film the security guards were watching is called Two Beers, a film I gaffed in the tunnels my Sophomore year!
LOGLINE:
A desperate man who’s just looking to do something right winds up getting hired by a secret, underground, government facility who would rather have him die than quitting.
DIRECTORS NOTE:
For my senior thesis film, I wanted to make that pushed me in all of the technical aspects of filmmaking. Wensdae’s script allowed me to do just that. It was so much fun creating all of the spaces and the technical rigging with my brother Aidan and the director of photography, Ian Nye. Not to mention none of it would have been possible if it weren’t for Troy Dunning, the producer, and Laith Benhammou, the production designer. I’m super grateful to have that experience!
FUN FACT!
We wanted to make the monster to grow taller than Chet, so the monster is actually the school’s ABC Jib!
Left Me Cold
FUN FACT!
We were very limited with our gear, so, instead of using a jib, my brother Aidan hopped into the bucket of Riley’s Skid steer!
LOGLINE:
A stay-at-home wife reaches her breaking point while enduring the painful quiet of rural Montana living
DIRECTORS NOTE:
Growing up a super small town in Dubois, winters have proven to being incredibly hard on my mental well being. It’s deafeningly isolating and grim. For some people, the only voice you hear is the wind. There have been many accounts of people going crazy from being home alone for too long. This story attempts to encapsulate the reality of loneliness of rural Montana. Created for the Yes We Canne film challenge in 2023, this film is also completing its film festival run.
FUN FACT!
During the fire scene, Our 1st AC almost blew himself up right in front of the property owner, which so happens to be his Mom!
The Ballad of the Dead and Dying
LOGLINE:
A sickly survivor scours the apocalyptic landscape in search for the one she cared about in her past life.

Film Coming Soon 〰️
DIRECTORS NOTE:
We made this film for the Geekapalooza Short Film Contest in May, 2024. With this project, I wanted to recreate the magic of silent storytelling that we did for Into the Blu. However, the added twist is this film is an Apocalyptic Musical. quite a peculiar genre. We did win the film competition and we are currently revising it for a further festival run.
FUN FACT!
We shot this film in an abandoned town called St. Marie, Montana, which is roughly 6 hours away from Bozeman!
Pickleball:
The Inspiring Story of a Father, a Son, and Two Vaguely Gay Men
LOGLINE:
A father and a son attempt to bond over the deceivingly fun game of pickleball when the thrill of beating their opponent takes hold.

Film Coming Soon 〰️
DIRECTORS NOTE:
As our fourth 48 hour film production, I wanted to try my hand with comedy. The slapstick nature of the film was a super fun challenge for me and my crew. I also got to discuss my gripes with competition and how it sometimes takes way the real reason why people should play sports. Pickle Ball won best writing and best use of prop at the Montana 48 film contest and got 2nd overall. Currently, we are recoloring it so it can go through another film festival run.
FUN FACT!
We almost got kicked out of the Pickleball court by other pretentious pickleball players. Ironic.
American Ronin
FUN FACT!
Since I don’t live in Seattle, I had to crash on the director’s couch in order to be apart of this project. Thanks, Sean!
LOGLINE:
A retiring assassin is on the run as his violent past is hunting him down.
PRODUCERS NOTE:
I got the wonderful opportunity to work with some Seattle based filmmakers on a couple of film projects in the summer of 2024. For this project, I was delighted to be a co-producer and the Assistant Director for my very first action film. The experience was such a rush and it was incredible seeing these filmmakers at work! I hope to work with them soon. While this is NOT the official cut of American Ronin, This version has a score created by my friend, Liam Queneau!
FUN FACT!
The majority of the cast graduated from the Seattle Stunt School before filming!
