The Mask of the Red Death
For my first true photo series, I chose to visualize Edgar Allan Poe’s short story The Masque of the Red Death. I reimagined each of the seven rooms in the story as representations of the seven deadly sins. While the story is set over 300 years ago, the themes of the tale seem to have eerily repeated themselves in 2020.

This is how the work was actually presented in 2022. Images captured on Black and White film with a Mamiya RB67.
